Day 7 is here! I have made it through one full week of the 21 Day Fix. My body is sore but I am getting a lot stronger. I am still finding myself having a bad attitude about what I am allowed to eat though. I remember this about doing the Fix last time, I get really really bored with the food. I watched a video of Autumn (the 21 day fix trainer) called “What I Eat in a Day” and that girl literally eats scrambled eggs and ground turkey, like all day. I just can’t. I mean she does fitness for a living and her body is crazy but I’m just not like that. Fitness isn’t my passion…..food is 🙂 I am trying to overcome this hurdle though and don’t want to always sound like I am complaining. I did some research and I have come up with 3 new recipes I will be trying this week. Can’t wait to show you what I picked out. I am looking forward to dinner tomorrow night!
Breakfast was oatmeal with peanut butter and bananas. I am starting to get used to this coffee with no sugar or creamer thing. 1 yellow / 1 purple / 1 teaspoon
Say hello to my amazing lunch. Tuna mixed with one orange container of creamy herb dressing (this will now be a go to), whole wheat crackers, sliced Fuji apples, and avocado. I know this is a big lunch but I didn’t have a snack and I was starving. 1 red / 1 blue / 1 yellow / 1 purple / 1 orange
Dinner time….more seafood. Tilapia filet with Creole seasoning, roasted asparagus, and green beans with red onions and balsamic vinegar. I’m not sure why but dinner time has been really hard for me. I haven’t been eating all of my food. I know this might sound ridiculous but I didn’t finish my green beans because I just didn’t want them. But if it was some creamy crab mac n cheese you better believe I would have eaten it all. 2 green / 2 red
Confession time: I didn’t workout today. I needed a break and Yoga, for me, isn’t relaxing…it’s painful. I will do yoga tomorrow during naptime and then it’s Full Body Cardio after dinner! Wish me luck!
