Day 4 was a bit of a challenge. The day started off well with a delicious breakfast. I had oatmeal with peanut butter mixed in and fresh berries on top. I also had a cup of coffee in my new “I Like To Party And By Party I Mean Nap” mug. Love it! 1 yellow / 1/2 purple / 1 teaspoon
Now, right after breakfast I ended up having to take Mackenzie to urgent care (nothing serious) and that threw my meal plan for a loop. The appointment took much longer than I thought and we still had to go to the pharmacy and wait on her prescription. I didn’t take a snack with me (bad planning on my part) so by lunch time I was starving. It was still going to be a little while before her medicine was ready so we ate lunch out. I chose Café Rio and did the best I could to follow my container guidelines. I ordered the Fiesta Bowl with rice, shredded beef, peppers and onions, lettuce and 1 scoop of guacamole. Oh it tasted SO good! I knew going in that I should only eat half and I am still amazed that I accomplished that. I could have easily eaten the entire thing but I wanted my scale to be nice to me the next morning, so I resisted. 1 yellow / 1 red / 1 green / 1 blue
I was able to get my workout in while the kids napped which was awesome! Today was Pilates Fix and I love that workout. It is probably one of my favorites. Still very challenging but it just feels so good. After my workout, I guzzled some water and had to hurry to get my snack and our dinner prepped so we could take them on the go. We were going to a get together that had pizza and lots of chocolate chip cookies…..Lord help me! For my snack I had plain yogurt topped with fresh berries, bananas, a drizzle of honey, and cinnamon. This felt like such a treat and I will probably be eating this a lot! 1 red / 1 1/2 purple
For dinner I made cauliflower rice and veggie burgers that I found at Wegmans. I threw them in a container and ate them while watching everyone else eat pizza….now that’s dedication people. 🙂

Sometimes things don’t go according to plan but you have to try your best to stay on track. I am happy I was able to stick with my eating plan today!
I also want to give a shoutout to my husband! I could not do this without him. It is so nice having someone keep me motivated and be my workout buddy. If I tried to workout alone I think I would just stand in front of the TV staring at it.
