It felt great going for a walk on Day 15 and getting both my workouts in, but today I am feeling really tired and wondering if I did too much. I woke up and had my coffee with almond milk and honey. I also made myself some oatmeal before the kids got up. I mixed it up with my oatmeal this morning. I added chopped apples and maple syrup. So heavenly! 1 yellow / 1/4 purple
For lunch, I made a flatbread pizza. I added some diced chicken, spinach, red onions, goat cheese, and olive oil on top of a Fit & Active Original Flatbread. They are only 90 calories per piece! I baked it at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. 1 yellow / 1 red / 1/2 green / 1 teaspoon
I had picked up a pre-made Sage Turkey Meatloaf from Wegmans as an easy dinner option. I popped that in the oven and made a couple vegetables to serve alongside. Now, I usually would never buy a pre-made dinner, but while on the 21 Day Fix, I find that they are a great option for us. This meatloaf was really moist and had tons of flavor. I sautéed some spinach, with garlic and olive oil and also roasted some butternut squash. 1 red / 2 green
My husband went to bed right after the kids since he had been up since 2:30 AM and I was SO tempted to not workout. But guess what!? I pushed through and worked out anyways! I powered through Upper Fix using mostly 8 pound weights, which was awesome, and afterwards I was beat. I decided to press play on Cardio Fix and see how much I could get done. I got a little over halfway through the workout before calling it quits. I am very happy with that though!
