The weather lately where I live has been crazy. Where is all the snow? We haven’t had a ground covering snow yet this year. Not cool! On Day 15, it was so nice outside that the kids and I spent all day, up until naptime, playing outside. I do love that I can take them out and run off their energy, but I would like them to use all the snow gear I bought them just once. Before we loaded up in the car to take a walk in town, I ate my peanut butter and banana oatmeal with maple syrup. 1 yellow / 1 purple / 1 teaspoon
The kids love riding in the stroller. According to my fitness app, we walked 2.38 miles. It felt really good to get some fresh air. We even saw a bald eagle while on our walk!
When we got home, I made the kids lunch and I had a snack. Sliced Fuji apples and some natural peanut butter. 1 purple / 1 teaspoon
Mid afternoon I made a plain chocolate Shakeology and ate some mini carrots. 1 red / 1 green
For dinner I tried a new recipe for, Tuscan Style Chicken Soup. Oh my goodness, this was amazing! So flavorful and totally 21 Day Fix friendly. It has beans, chicken, kale, potatoes, and more. This recipe is a keeper for sure! I didn’t count containers at dinner. I ate one and a half bowls of this and was stuffed. I’m sure I didn’t eat all my protein. That’s okay though.
Today was the first day that I wanted to accomplish two workouts. I am happy to say that I got them done! I did Pilates while the kids napped and Total Body Cardio after they went to bed. What an active day. I am down another pound so that was great motivation to keep at it until Day 21!
