Before you look at yet another picture of my oatmeal, I just want to say….. I am down another pound! That’s 7 pounds total. I am very excited about that! Today was Pilates Fix and all I can say is feel the burn. Autumn says it’s an active recovery day which works for me. I am still working hard but I don’t have to jump all around out of breath!
Oatmeal with peanut butter, bananas, and maple syrup. 1 yellow / 1 purple / 1 teaspoon
My mid morning snack was chocolate and peanut butter Shakeology (I only used 1/2 scoop). 1/2 red / 1 teaspoon
Lunch was the leftover Crockpot Pork Carnitas on corn tortillas with cheddar cheese, green and red cabbage, and avocado. 1 yellow / 1 1/2 red / 1 blue / 1/2 green
I will be eating these for lunch until all the pork is gone. So delicious!
For dinner, I made turkey sausage with peppers and onions. I roasted some butternut squash in Tuscan herb olive oil and served that alongside. I had these Italian turkey sausages in the freezer from when they were on sale at Wegmans. I always buy meat when they mark it down on manager’s special and put it in my freezer for later. It always makes me feel like I am getting a deal. I think these sausage were $3 less than regular price. 1 red / 1/2 green
After our late night workout, I got really hungry. I realized I still had a red container and a purple container leftover, so I made myself a little snack. Yogurt with berries, honey, and cinnamon.
Tomorrow night is the Super Bowl and I can’t wait to take a break from my eating plan and enjoy what everyone has made. I hope I can get back on track afterwards and finish this program strong!
