Hi there! I’m back to share what Day 10 of my 21 Day Fix Adventure looked like. Breakfast was oatmeal….again. You are probably getting tired of seeing a pictures of my oatmeal, but I committed to showing my experience and eating oatmeal almost everyday is part of that 🙂 1 yellow / 1 purple / 1 teaspoon + pure maple syrup
For dinner, I planned to make a recipe for Crockpot Pork Carnitas that I found on the blog Sublime Reflection. I needed to get that cooking on low since it takes 6-8 hours. I had some pork already in my freezer and I pulled that out to thaw the night before. I put it in the crockpot and topped it with spices. Sliced onions went on top followed by fresh orange and lime juice. Then it was just a waiting game and believe me it wasn’t easy. This made my house smell great!
My snack was on the go once again as I headed to the grocery store. I feel like I am always at the grocery store. Plain yogurt with honey, cinnamon, and berries. 1 red / 1 purple
When I got home I scrambled some eggs with green peppers for lunch. 1 1/2 red / 1/4 green
I was getting really hungry about mid afternoon, so I ate some mini carrots. I knew I had a delicious dinner ahead of me but that required holding some of my containers off until then, which was not easy. 1 green
Ah! Dinner time! I put that delicious pork on some corn tortillas with cheddar cheese, avocado, red and green cabbage, and creamy herb dressing. I really loaded them up. 1 green / 1 yellow / 2 red / 1 blue / 1 orange
Today’s workout was Lower Fix and boy does that make your legs and abs burn. Getting stronger and stronger!
